Who we are

Australian Safety Rail was purchased in 2005, having been originally founded in 1996. The company was established to supply and install safety rail (roof edge protection) to the roofing industry. In 2012, safety rail products were exported to New Zealand, specifically Christchurch, to assist with providing a safe working environment for workers who were engage in the rebuilding after the earthquakes. In 2017, Roof Fastening Systems was established as the sales arm of the business. In 2022, Australian Safety Rail, the hire side of the business was sold. This has resulted in more resources and time to be directed to providing quality service and products to our sales customer’s.

Roof Fastening Systems mission is to provide quality safety rail (roof edge protection) systems to ensure that people who work at heights for a living, are safe in their workplace. Our products can provide peace of mind for both employers and employees, that they are protected from falls. Our products are designed, manufactured and tested to meet and exceed Australian Standards 4994.1 and with every purchase, we will provide you with copies of test certificates, installation guides and a blank SWMS document to assist you with meeting your regulatory requirements.

We will continue to monitor the trends in construction and will design/adapt our products to evolve with the industry.
